Robin Goomes and Casey Brown dominated the first-ever women's competition at Red Bull Rampage with a historic win and another podium spot.
Robin Goomes is a woman of firsts. First backflip in a competition. Winner of the first women's diamond level slopestyle event. Dropping into Red Bull Rampage as the first ever woman, and then stomping her run and winning. She absolutely crushed her line and stomped her way to the top on KENDA Pinner tires with ATC casing. Robin’s courage, skill, and resilience were on full display. We couldn’t be prouder!
Casey Brown also had an incredible ride, taking third place and earning the McGazza Spirit Award, an award voted for by the other riders. This award embodies the spirit of loving everyone, staying positive, and never giving up. Casey relied on the new KENDA Double Black tires, showing us just how versatile and powerful they are.
It’s been emotional seeing these amazing women scout and dig their lines for the first time, unlocking new features, pushing boundaries and inspiring a whole new generation of riders. Huge congratulations to Robin and Casey for making history and already being absolute Rampage legends!
In the men's field, we saw KENDA riders Tom Isted and Clemens Kaudela heading to the Utah desert. Rampage first-timer Tom Isted showed everyone why he had earned his spot. If you haven't seen his wild run over the canyon gap, go check it out now. He nailed it perfectly in his finals run, but with a couple of small mistakes here and there and not dropping in for a second run due to wind, he couldn't execute his run like he had wanted to. Returning rider Clemens Kaudela had a gnarly crash during training and had to drop out. Fortunately, Clemens is already on the path of recovery. Our biggest respect to all the riders!
