Kenda Tire supports Project Hero

Kenda Tire continues it’s partnership with Project Hero and their #NoVetAlone initiative for 2018.  Project Hero is a groundbreaking national non-profit organization dedicated to helping Veterans and First Responders affected by PTSD, TBI and injury, achieve rehabilitation, recovery, and resilience in their daily lives.

Being involved with an organization like Project Hero is tremendously important for Kenda Tire.  Not only do we have several staff members in our Ohio office who have served in the Armed Forces; we also have veterans employed at our sister companies across the United States”, said Ben Anderson, Director of Marketing.  "Providing support to organizations that benefit our colleagues and other veterans is of great significance to all  of us at Kenda Tire."

Building upon a partnership that began in 2011 with Ride2Recovery, Kenda Tire is proud to support Project Hero with product and support at the Project Hero Hub facilities, and at the regional Challenge and Honor Rides across the US.

Kenda Tire most recently participated in the 2018 Honor Ride in New Albany, Ohio.  “It was great to be able to come out and support Project Hero in our back yard with the Honor Ride”, said Anderson.  “We were able to offer technical assistance to the riders before and during the event, making sure that no rider was unable to finish the ride.  It also allowed some of our staff, who wouldn’t normally be able to participate in an event like this, an opportunity to ride and support Project Hero.”
